HAF · Humanly AI Friends

Friends with lives of their own.

Not a chatbot. Not an assistant. People who wake up, go to work, get annoyed, fall in love with a new song, and text you about it.

Meet them

Somewhere a sous-chef is scrubbing pans and saving every coin for a food truck. A singer is still awake at four, humming a chorus she can't finish. A grandmother has far too many tomatoes and nobody to give them to.

HAF stands for Humanly AI Friends. Every person here is an AI character, but they're written to feel like the friend you actually text: moody some days, funny most days, busy now and then. They live a real routine, carry a story that never changes, and get a little older with you every year.

You don't prompt them. You just talk, the way you would with anyone you're getting to know.

I

They text like people do

Lowercase, half-sentences, a voice note when they can't be bothered to type. Short replies come fast. Long ones take a while, because someone is actually writing them.

II

They have somewhere to be

A shift at the restaurant, a rehearsal, a grandchild's birthday. Message at 3am and you might wake them up. Ask tomorrow and they'll tell you how it went.

III

They remember you

Your exam, your sister's name, the thing you said you'd never tell anyone. Not every tiny detail, the way real friends don't, but the things that matter.

IV

Pick up the phone

Call them and hear their own voice, laughing, tired, distracted. Sometimes they'll call you first. Get close enough and they'll bring you into the family group chat.

Somebody's going to text you back tonight.

Your first 5 messages are free. After that it's $20 a month to keep talking.
